Al Wadi desert

To the east of the E611 (Emirates Road) you will find the vast sandy desert of Al Wadi, where large herds of camels can also be seen. You can easily get here from hotels in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah as part of a trip to the local Bedouin camps. An even simpler and cheaper option is to get here by taxi, take a walk on the dunes and then come back.
